I can hear Chris' gravely voice and laugh. I can see his sly smile and hugh dimples. I will always remember going to concerts with Chris, Laura, Tim McEvily and Rick Griffin from about 75 to 78 . Concerts like, Alice Cooper and Kiss to name just a couple. Lots of parties, going to the beach and especially goofing around in Sharon' apartment, while she was at work, of course. Tim and Chris would put on sunglasses and get out the brooms to play guitar on and sing into while "Queen" was blasting on the stereo. Sharon was the coolest Mom on the block, by the way. I think Chris was even with me the day I turned 16 and went to get my license. Sometimes a group of us would go to breakfast instead of school and Chris would always get over easy eggs and chop them all up and eat them with his toast. I have eaten my eggs like that ever since. He made it look so good. I haven't seen or talked to Chris since the 80's, but for me, Chris will always be about twenty-something with long blond hair and those beautiful blue eyes. I will always keep you safe in my memories Chris. With much love and sincere sympathy, Susie Zettas Shields
